Never thought about it until I watched this. It’s the same in our culture. Our “village” and our “community” trust one another to be able to sell our products along the streets to our neighbors.
Our friends make items and sell them at local Asian grocery shops. I see he same trend in the Hispanic and Somalian communities when I go in their grocery stores.
You don’t see too many ‘authentic’ items in mainstream stores, for obvious reasons. The only place that’s close to fitting that niche, from what I can see, is Whole Foods.
I love farmers markets and try to hit them all up whenever I can to support our community; our neighbors.
Trust is an integral part of our culture. Love this perspective!
